Strategic Collaboration between AWS and ELCA Group

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and ELCA Group have entered into a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) to work closely on digital transformation in Switzerland and widen the choice of platforms ELCA Group will leverage to build and run applications in the cloud for its clients. This collaboration will help ELCA Group expand its own internal capability and offerings on AWS to serve a growing demand in the Swiss market.

Many businesses are looking for in-depth expertise across the full spectrum of IT services, including those related to the implementation of complex cloud solutions, which ELCA Group can provide.

"This strategic collaboration agreement with AWS will help support our vision, which is to be one of the leading independent Swiss Cloud and IT services providers in Switzerland, with the most complete portfolio and set of skills for cloud and managed services.” says Ferruccio Lagutaine, COO of ELCA Group.

Following the recent opening of a dedicated AWS Region in Switzerland, AWS and ELCA Group anticipate their collaboration will enhance Swiss customers’ cloud adoption, increase value extraction from AWS cloud products and services, and set them for long-term success.  The new AWS Region brings lower latency and additional options for even more local data storage to Swiss customers.

"We are thrilled by this new collaboration with ELCA Group, whom we officially recognized as a Rising Star Partner last year through the AWS Awards scheme. ELCA Group has the capacity to unleash the full potential of our services thanks to its expertise in custom application development. We rely on members of our AWS Partner Network  to accelerate our current momentum, by helping their own customers with stringent compliance and security requirements to take full advantage of the cloud." says Chris Keller, Head of Enterprise Sales at AWS Switzerland.
